Venom Star Once Again Teases Clash with Spider-Man in Deleted IG Post

A few weeks ago, Tom Hardy had posted a photo of Venom going against Spider-Man on his IG, but the post was hastily deleted. What's interesting is, Hardy has posted another photo teasing the clash and has deleted the photo as well.

Check it out:

It's a different photo from the one he posted earlier as well. Check out the comparison:

We don't really know why Hardy's account would post these up and delete them, but fans are already speculating that this is building up to some kind of reveal. The movie was originally supposed to come out this October, and with the delay, some think that these posts are actually coming out on the same day the trailers were originally supposed to drop.

Just in case you didn't know, Tom Holland was originally supposed to appear in the first Venom movie, but Disney had asked for the cameo to be pulled out. If anything, I think it was a smart move on Disney's part, seeing as the film was such a critical bomb. Hopefully with Andy Serkis at the helm of this sequel, we actually get something a lot closer to the quality that's expected from an MCU film. Maybe then Marvel Studios will be willing to do more crossovers with the SMUC.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is now set for a release this coming June 25, 2021, but the next Sony movie in the timeline is actually Morbius which is slated for March 19, 2021.
