The Mandalorian Star Pedro Pascal Officially Endorses HBO's Watchmen

The last episode of Watchmen is probably one of the best in the series, and a lot of people can't stop gushing about HBO's latest hit online. What's fun is, the show has actually got the attention of the star of the next biggest show out right now, The Mandalorian.

As it turns out, Pedro Pascal is a fan of Watchmen too. He posted up this reply to EW's Rebecca Theodore-Vachon:

If you think about it, it would make sense that Pascal would show support to an HBO show. After all, it was his stint on Game of Thrones that was his big break. It would propel him to work on things like Narcos, Kingsman, and now The Mandalorian.

While a lot of people like The Mandalorian, I'm admittedly a little peeved with each episode that comes out. I just think 30 minutes is too short for an action-heavy series. I would have really loved to get a full hour every week. Instead, I walk into every episode knowing that everything will be cut short.

Watchmen, on the other hand, is dealing with the weekly release perfectly. Besides the bursts of action, we also get some really meaningful character development from everyone. Plus audiences get the fun of putting a puzzle together slowly as more is revealed every episode.

At this point, I'm actually fine if Watchmen ends after one season. I don't know how Damon Lindelof will manage to keep connecting to the graphic novel if the story pushes forward. Then again, he was able to pull off this fantastic first season, so maybe he already has something planned for the future.

Catch HBO's Watchmen every Sunday night.
