The Mandalorian Actor Fulfilled a Childhood Dream in the Last Episode

Omid Abtahi had a small role as Dr. Pershing in the first season of The Mandalorian, and he has made his return for the second season in the last episode. What's more interesting is, Abtahi says that he has fulfilled a childhood dream of his when he appeared in Chapter 12: The Siege.

Here's his post on Twitter:

With holograms being the main communicating medium in Star Wars, I guess you could expect that almost every character would get a chance to be a hologram; but then again, even Han Solo or Chewbacca never got that chance. Luke never appeared in an artificial hologram, but I guess the version of him that fights Kylo Ren in The Last Jedi counts as a hologram too.

Going back to Dr. Pershing, we don't really know when he'll pop-up in the show again, but it looks like he has a very important role to play in Moff Gideon's plan. Fans are still in the dark on what the Imperial Remnant wants to do with Baby Yoda, but some are suspecting that either Gideon wants to use the child to become Force-sensitive, or he wants to use the blood to manufacture his own Force-sensitive army.

After some side quests in the past episodes, it would be great if we started getting one continuous story moving forward. With the show already blowing through all the clips seen in the trailer, the next episode will hopefully give us something completely unexpected.
