The CW Reveals Tyler Hoechlin’s New Superman Suit for Superman and Lois

While a lot of fans are waiting for Henry Cavill's Superman to return in Zack Snyder's Justice League next year, The CW has their own Superman to show off with the upcoming show Superman and Lois. Just in, we have a new look at Hoechlin's Superman and suit, and it's probably the most accurate one he's had as compared to the one from Supergirl.

This was shared by Lois Lane actress Elizabeth Tulloch:

Hoechlin himself also said in a statement (via ComicBook):

"I find that the new suit is representative of the show… Just as this suit is unique and set apart from the ones that preceded it, the story we're telling about Clark/Superman at this point in his life is unique and something we've never seen before. I appreciate the opportunity to wear the suit and the responsibility that comes with it. But it's always interesting when I'm asked how I feel about 'my new suit,' because I've always felt that the suit doesn't belong to me; it belongs to everyone that finds some kind of meaning in that suit, in the symbol on the chest. I just happen to be the one wearing it."

Seeing that we've already had promo images with Hoechlin wearing the Superman suit from Supergirl, I have a feeling that he's going to change into this costume at some point in the show. With this one looking more traditional than the previous suit, I think it's possible we can expect some more costume changes down the line.

While Cavill's Superman is the flashiest, a lot of people have a love for Hoechlin's take on the character. Hopefully, he really gets to show some range to his Man of Steel when Superman and Lois are coming out on February 23, 2021, on The CW.
