With every new Star Wars movie is an introduction of a new stormtrooper, and The Rise of Skywalker has been teasing these new red troopers. As it turns out, these are called “Sith Troopers” and Hasbro and Hot Toys have given us a look at the new figures ahead of SDCC 2019.

Check them out:

We don’t really have any clue as to what the Sith Troopers are, but judging by their name, I imagine that they’re a rung up your classic Stormtrooper. It does come with a variety of weapons, and I have a feeling that these guys could be Force-sensitive.

It was my own personal speculation as well that these troopers were actually clones, seeing that Kylo had suggested using a clone army way back in The Force Awakens. What if Kylo had allowed himself to be cloned so that he can have an army of subservient soldiers that were also adept to the Force like he is?

That’s just my guess anyway. I have a feeling that Lucasfilm is going to give us more info on these guys during come SDCC 2019. Then again, it’s possible they could hold off on it until the D23 Expo that takes place in August—which is likely when they’ll drop the official trailer for The Rise of Skywalker.

For now, we wait for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to hit theaters Dec. 20.
