Star Wars: First Look at Hasbro’s Animatronic Baby Yoda

I don't think anyone was able to foresee the Star Wars fanbase's love for Baby Yoda, but Hasbro is just in giving us some merch of The Mandalorian's favorite son. Toy Fair 2020 has given us a look at an animatronic Baby Yoda, and now we have an official photo.

Check him out:

He also comes with this description (via StarWars.com):

Protect the Child. Touching the top of this animatronic edition's head activates over 25 sound and motion combinations, including happy and excited sounds, giggles, babbles, and a range of ear-wiggling and other motions!

If you think the photo is impressive, just wait till you see him in action. The whole thing can blink, move its ears, and its arms.

The animatronic Baby Yoda probably won't come with a floating cradle, but I'm sure anyone creative enough can make their own when it comes down to it.

Baby Yoda has been one of the latest mascots that have contributed to this internet "Baby Craze." Besides this guy, we've also gotten Baby Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog; what's more, Planters has decided to kill off Mr. Peanut in favor of ‘Baby Nut'. We don't know how long that stunt is going to last, but the internet is not going to have it.

Back to Baby Yoda though, he's expected to come back for the second season of The Mandalorian which airs on Disney+ this October.
