Spider-Man Far from Home: Is Remy Hii Playing Amadeus Cho a.k.a. The Totally Awesome Hulk?

It was revealed that Remy Hii (Crazy Rich Asians) had joined the cast of Spider-Man: Far from Home two months ago, and based on some set photos, he's going to be a student alongside Peter Parker. His role remains undisclosed for now, but an interesting theory points out that Hii could be playing Marvel resident super genius, Amadeus Cho.

This was brought up by MCU Exchange, who points out that Cho himself has a history in the comics where he was asked to go against Mysterio (a.k.a. the main villain of this film) by SHIELD. What's more, we already have a relative of Cho in the MCU— Dr. Helen Cho from Age of Ultron. Sure she's Amadeus' mother in the comics, but I think they can change it up so she's his older sister.

It's also worth noting that Cho has also become the new (Totally Awesome) Hulk in the comics, and unlike Bruce Banner who hates his powers, Cho actually embraces them.

Again, this is all just speculation, but it could be building up to something bigger in the future. With a lot of the Avengers actors retiring soon, it might be high time for Marvel Studios to start building a new roster. Mark Ruffalo isn't going to be the Hulk forever, and who better to replace him than the eight smartest person in the Marvel Universe—The Totally Awesome Hulk?

Hopefully, we get some reveals soon. With the movie just wrapping, a lot of people are hoping that we get the first trailer by December. Let's just hope that Sony doesn't spoil much.
