Scripts for Disney+ She-Hulk have been Finished

While Marvel Studios is currently on lockdown, everyone has been finding ways to be productive remotely. Development is still ongoing for Disney+'s She-Hulk series, and we have confirmation that the writing for the show has already wrapped up.

This was confirmed by one of the show's writers Dana Schwartz on Twitter:

So far we don't have any details on the show, but I guess you could say that there will be an emphasis on comedy, seeing that the series is looking for an "Alison Brie-type" for the role. Some actually want Brie herself to be cast as Jennifer Walters, but for now, we haven't gotten any significant updates on who could be She-Hulk.

Mark Ruffalo has also confirmed that he's had talks about appearing on the show, but for now, it doesn't seem like anything solid has been planned out. With She-Hulk's origin so close to Hulk, I'd say that it's essential the show have that connection. They don't even have to have Ruffalo in the whole series, just have him appear prominently in one episode.

So far, we have no release date for the She-Hulk series, but with development happening so fast, a lot of people were convinced we were going to have the premiere sometime in 2021. Then again, COVID-19 did happen, so it's likely we'll have to wait a bit longer for Jen Walters to make her MCU debut.

The first MCU Disney+ series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was originally set to come out this August, but as it looks, it's possible Disney will push it back further into the year.
