New Game of Thrones Featurette Focuses on the Cinematography Over the Years

Game of Thrones is set to end next month, and HBO has been releasing these featurettes regularly to hype everyone up for the final season. Just in, this new one deals with the show's fantastic cinematography, and we're taken into the world by Sean Savage who has been working on the show since Season One.

Even until now, the most challenging sequence that Thrones has ever put together is the Battle of the Bastards, and Savage himself considered it to be one of the hardest scenes he's worked on compared to the Hardhome battle as well as Daenery's rescue from Beyond the Wall.

With Season 8 coming, the showrunners have been teasing a scene that is aiming to top BoB, but we still have no idea at what point in the story it will be introduced. Will it be for when the Whites reach Winterfell? Will they even manage to get all the way to King's Landing in the show?

Personally, I'm more in it for the complicated politics rather than the war scenes, but I guess to each his own. I would just rather watch all the intrigue going along with the Throne as compared to just watching the heroes go up against an undead army. Don't get me wrong, I still want to see those scenes, but it's just not the scenes that have really hooked me to the show.

Catch Game of Thrones 8 when it premieres April 14.
