While everyone is still excited that Henry Cavill is sticking to Superman, December will see him take on a different role in the form of Geralt of Rivia. Netflix has just dropped a new poster for The Witcher, and Cavill and co-stars are looking fierce.

Check it out:

Just in case you didn’t know, the other characters with Geralt are Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Ciri (Freya Allan). Yennefer is a sorceress who is said to be a love interest to Geralt, while Ciri is Geralt’s protégé. We don’t know how far the series will go in terms of the books, but it’s likely that all of these characters will come together before the end of the first season.

I have to say, Cavill really looks the part, and based on what we’ve seen in the trailers, The Witcher is going to be one hell of a spectacle. The production looks fantastic, and it looks like Netflix spared no expense. With Game of Thrones ending earlier this year (and poorly, if I may add), adult fantasy fans are going to be looking for something else to fill in the void.

Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.

Catch the first season of The Witcher when it debuts on Netflix on Dec. 20.
