Hasbro Officially Unveils Their Overwatch Figures

Blizzard's Overwatch has grown to be a massive community ever since its launch back in 2016, but one complaint for fans is the lack of merch. Besides their LEGO deal, Overwatch has also partnered up with toy giant Hasbro to bring the toyline Overwatch Ultimates to life.

Before Hasbro made their announcement, the only available Overwatch figures we had came from Figma, and they were admittedly very pricey. Hopefully with this new set of figures coming from Hasbro, we'll actually be able to get figures that are more affordable.

What's cool is, the figures also come with some great accessories, and if these are more affordable, we could be looking at different skins coming to the line. Hasbro opened with the Blackwatch Reyes Reaper and Shrike Ana for this line, but maybe we'll get some more classic looks should the line succeed.

After Marvel Legends and Star Wars The Black Series, Hasbro is in control of the most collectible toys in the market. With Overwatch falling under their license, I'm excited to see what kind of figures they can come up with down the line. Sure they may not be as poseable or detailed as the imports, but the quality overall is pretty good considering the price. Would you rather get one great figure for your cash, or two pretty good ones of different characters?

No release date has been announced for the Overwatch Ultimates lineup, but hopefully they come out within the year.

Overwatch is currently playable for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
