First Reactions to Disney Pixar's Onward Praise an Emotional Tale About Brotherhood

After Toy Story 4, Disney Pixar is said to be dropping sequel and spinoffs in favor of more original stories. The next film set to come out from the studio is Onward, and the first reactions have just hit the net.

Check them out:

I think it's safe to say that we should expect Onward to be another tearjerker from Disney Pixar. I have to put it to the studio, they can never make a kids' movie anymore without expecting the audiences to cry. At this point, I don't even think it's a surprise that the film was going to get emotional. I certainly don't expect any less from the upcoming Soul.

Besides the film getting emotional, a lot of people are also chocked that Tom Holland actually gets to sing in this movie. We don't know if the song will ever be officially released, but some are comparing it to the When She Loved Me number from Toy Story 2.

Either way, I'm happy that the film is getting received well. Let's just hope that audiences agree when it finally comes out. These days, it doesn't seem like audiences and critics can find any common ground anymore.

Two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, go on a journey to discover if there is still a little magic left out there in order to spend one last day with their father, who died when they were too young to remember him.

Disney Pixar's Onward will hit theaters this coming March 4.
