Ezra Miller is Coming Back for Fantastic Beasts 3

It seemed that Ezra Miller's role of Credence in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was just a small appearance in the franchise, but he's making a return in the sequel The Crimes of Grindelwald. As it turns out, we're actually going to get more of Credence moving forward as Miller has been confirmed for the third Fantastic Beasts film.

This was confirmed by Variety during their report of the Flash movie delaying production. It was said that Miller would reprise his role of Credence in the third film, which is expected to start production July 2019. The Flash movie was supposed to start earlier next year, but now they've pushed production way back to late 2019.

Like I said, I thought Credence's role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise was just a small one, but I guess he can fill in the shoes of Harry Potter—in a sense that he's going to be slowly discovering more things about the Wizarding World as the films move along. Based on what we've seen in the trailers, Credence is going to find himself in a magic circus, and he'll be good friends with the snake woman Nagini, who also turns out to be Voldemort's snake in the HP franchise. Then again, I'm hoping this is just a red herring set up by J.K. Rowling.

Catch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in theaters Nov. 16.
