Every Ticket Sold for Deadpool 2's PG-13 Release is $1 to Charity

Deadpool 2 was a huge hit when it came out last May, and now the movie is set to come back this Christmas for a more child-friendly release. As it turns out, a huge chunk of profits that the movie will earn will be going to charity.

As per Deadline, every ticket sold for Once Upon A Deadpool will be $1 to the ‘F*ck Cancer' Campaign; funnily enough, during the film's release, the charity has also decided to temporarily change its name to ‘Fudge Cancer'.

Though the movie will be getting a PG-13 cut, the reduction of violence and foul language isn't the only change that will be coming to the movie. Some whole new sequences have been shot with Fred Savage in the mix, and it will have Deadpool trying to tell him the story of the film in the guise of a Christmas tale.

No doubt the cut might also be using some jokes that didn't make it to the final cut of the film.

Looking at Deadpool 2 again, the film does really have a lot of material in it to make up for a PG-13 film. Unlike the first Deadpool which had a lot of sex and nudity, the main problem with this sequel would basically be just toning down the violence. Besides, none of it will really affect the story.

I'm actually kind of excited to see how different this Christmas cut of Deadpool 2 is going to turn out.

Catch Once Upon a Deadpool when it hits theaters Dec. 12–24.
