Elizabeth Olsen Starts Shooting Doctor Strange 2 This December

While everyone is excited for Scarlet Witch to take center stage in WandaVision, Wanda Maximoff is also set to appear in the upcoming sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Filming is set to begin soon for the movie, and Elizabeth Olsen confirms she'll be in front of cameras soon.

Talking to Conde Nast Traveller, Olsen explains that she'll start working on the movie this December in London. She says, "I am moving back soon to film the sequel to Doctor Strange, so I'll be there for Christmas, just outside London. Even given the current circumstances, it will be a nice trip.'"

She doesn't go into any details about the movie since the interview is about travelling, but at least we can confirm that the movie is going to start production very soon. Hopefully Marvel Studios has prepared enough to make sure that the cast and crew are safe from the pandemic because it would be expensive if they had to make halts because someone caught the virus.

Going back to WandaVision though, it has been confirmed that the series will immediately set-up the plot of the Doctor Strange sequel. We don't really know what happens, but it would be great to have Scarlet Witch explore more of her powers, seeing as she's capable of way more than just moving things with her mind. Hopefully Strange will be there to help Wanda use her powers better, but I'm hopeful that we get a lot more wacky and weird based on the title of the movie.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is currently set to come out on Nov. 5, 2021. WandaVision premieres on Disney+ on Jan. 15, 2021.
