Ryan Reynolds Reveals Unknown Details About Deadpool in New Interview

Ryan Reynolds recently sat down with German outlet FILMSTARTS to promote Deadpool. In the interview, the 39-year-old actor revealed quite a few things yet to be known about him and his character.

One of the highlights in dialogue is how Reynold sees the future of Deadpool movies, with the X-Force being mentioned as his "priority." Apparently, Reynolds is open to the exploration of the rich material that the X-Men Cinematic Universe has to offer.

Reynolds said:

In the future, if we're doing a bunch more 'Deadpool' movies, we're really going to explore the X-Men a lot. We'll see. And maybe X-Force -- X-Force is my priority. I really want to get that in.

Reynolds also revealed how the upcoming film is really grounded than what it looks like in promotional materials. The actor segued into how the love story in the movie plays a part in setting the "grounded" tone.

You can't just have Deadpool go completelyinsanefor the whole movie. You have to understand who he is. You have to have some grounded moments to sort of anchor it in, and the love story is really important in our film and there's a full legit love story in the movie.
That love story turns into a revenge story, and that's one element of Deadpool. He feels everything so deeply... he would do anything to get this girl back. Deadpool is an interesting character to see when his back is against the wall. He'll do anything. When Deadpool is desperate, weird stuff happens.

As for the film's R-rating, Reynolds revealed how it played a big role in the comedic aspect of Deadpool.

In order to be really funny, you have to have no limits, and we needed no limits, and we had no limits. We really got to do whatever we wanted, however we wanted. The actionis a lot more hardcore than you would see in a typicalMarvelmovie, and the comedy is a lot more hardcore than you'd see in anything, including normal comedies.

I don't know about future Deadpool movies as mentioned by Reynolds early on in the interview, but I'm planning to see first whether Deadpool is everything its set out to be before I can begin thinking of a Deadpool X-Force crossover.

Nevertheless, I am very excited to see Deadpool, especially with Marvel's no holds barred approach in filming and considering it is Marvel's first ever R-rated film.
