We’re less than three months away from the release of one of the most anticipated comic book films of the year – Captain America: Civil War. In line with this, Empire Magazine has decided to feature photos of the film, a highlight of which is Scarlet Witch’s fierce new outfit.

See Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the Empire issue:

The last we’ve seen of Scarlet Witch is when she lost her psychic twin, Quicksilver, in Age of Ultron. In Captain America: Civil War, she decides to side with Captain America (Chris Evans). Their team includes Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Bucky (Sebastian Stan), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). This will put her against her comic-book lover, the Vision (Paul Bettany). It remains unknown how their love story will play into the film.

The latest issue of Empire also grants fans a first look into Frank Grillo’s Crossbones, as well as a closer look into the final standoff between the Cap and Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr, and more Captain America: Civil War images.

Specific details of the plot of Civil War remain unknown, but it would appear that Crossbones will somehow be involved in staging the eponymous battle between Earth’s mightiest superheroes.

Joe Russo spoke to Empire and the director shared that “the consequences of Civil War will have an even more significant impact [than The Winter Soldier].”

He added:

In Civil War, we’re going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s psychology, and it’s an extreme shift. Winter Soldier was a political thriller; this is a psychological thriller.

The director also hinted at one point that the movie could end with the death of a major character. With no solo films of Captain America in the future, my guess is that it could very well be Steve Rogers.

Captain America: Civil War is slated for release on May 6.
