DC Fans are Freaking Out Over '89 Batmobile's Return in The Flash

Michael Keaton's portrayal of Batman is still held in high regard by a lot of DC fans. In fact, many believe that Keaton is the true definitive live-action version of the caped crusader despite the fact that we've already witnessed stellar performances by actors like Christian Bale and Ben Affleck who many believe are top contenders to the throne. Now, after three decades, Keaton is finally reprising the role many believe he never had closure with.

Apparently, Keaton is not the only thing from the Burtonverse that is making a comeback. Batman's iconic Batmobile is confirmed to make a return in Ezra Miller's standalone The Flash project. Set photos from the upcoming DCEU flick leaked last night and it features Barry Allen inside the Batcave and a clear shot of the fan-favorite Dark Knight vehicle.

I'm really pleased that Andy Muschietti didn't try to give us a modernized version of the Batmobile and honestly, there's no need for it anyway. You know what they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Moreover, Keaton making his triumphant Batman return after 30 years is a dream come true especially for a guy like me who grew up watching Batman 1989 and Batman Returns. All I can truly say is, what a time to be alive!

The Flash is slated for release in November 2022.
