That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is one of the well-loved anime since it made its premiere in 2018. It follows Satoru Mikami who was reincarnated as a Slime in a different world. Who Is Hinata Sakaguchi?
Hinata is a Japanese otherworlder and leader of Western Holy Church’s Ten Great Saints. She is considered the second after the Holy Emperor in terms of authority. She is a character who has short black hair with violet eyes. At first glance, her calculating and cold eyes could easily be noticed. Rimuru considers her beautiful.
For her personality, Hinata is a cold pragmatist. She isn’t afraid to cooperate with anybody as long as it can benefit mankind. She can even work with the Demon Lords despite the church believing that they kill monsters. She is also the type who can give a piece of advice. But once that advice is ignored, she won’t repeat herself again.
She can be extremely stubborn and won’t compromise unless Luminous orders her to. Hinata is an efficient leader despite being extremely harsh. She was the one who gathered the Ten Great Saints that are comparable to the Ten Demon Lords.
Hinata grew up with her gambling-addict father who racked up a huge debt from gambling. This made her decide to murder him in exchange for life insurance. This incident triggered an emotional breakdown in her mother. Hinata had no choice but to kill her as well but was not pushed through as she was whisked to the Otherworld.
Shizue Izawa took Hinata as a disciple and trained her. It only took a month before Hinata was able to surpass her and this made Hinata decide to become the most powerful knight.
