My Hero Academia follows the journey of Izuku Midoriya (aka Deku) to become Japan’s greatest hero. Aside from the hero stuff, fans are also interested in pairing Deku with other characters. Some popular ships are Deku x Shoto, Deku x Bakugo, Deku x Ochaco, and more. But who does Deku really like or end up with?
Since My Hero Academia is an ongoing manga, we still can't say for certain who ultimately wins over the protagonist's heart.
But in the meantime, here are some theories and predictions as to who Deku will end up with based on what happened in the manga so far.
Who Does Deku Like?
While Deku seems to be unaware of it, it appears that he has a crush on Ochaco Uraraka, his classmate and friend in Class 1-A, as there are a lot of times he would blush whenever she is near.
He also likes to give her compliments, which in turn, makes her really happy.
Ochaco and Deku also share a lot of moments together so it won't be surprising if he decides to confess to her someday.

Does Deku End Up With Ochaco?
For now, fans believe that Ochaco is the closest to a potential romantic interest Deku can have. Ochaco is the first friend Deku had since he started U.A. High. She also helped him change his perspective with the name "Deku," which he eventually used as his hero name.
Deku and Ochaco's closeness was proven a lot of times throughout the series too.
But one instance that made fans quite certain of their potential pairing was when Yuga Aoyama made Ochaco realize her feelings for Deku. Since then, Ochaco has been conscious around Deku.
Mina Ashido also teases the two of them, adding to the possibility that they could end up together.
Though, for now, fans can enjoy the small moments these two share.
Whether the creator of the manga, Kohei Horikoshi, seals the deal between them is still entirely up to him.
In the meantime, fans of the Deku x Ochaco ship can make cute fan art of the two of them.
Who Does Deku End Up With?
It's understandable that fans have a lot of theories regarding Deku’s love life, but as far as the story goes, he is currently focused on his training. His main goal is to become the greatest hero in Japan, and dating isn’t one of his priorities right now.
But we don’t know if this will go on until the end of the series.
Horikoshi might eventually decide to give Deku an official partner sooner or later as the manga approaches its conclusion.
So, for the time being, fans can follow the series and keep an eye out for any changes.
