Megumi Fushiguro is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He is one of the team members of Yuji Itadori. For those who are not familiar with him, Megumi has spiky dark blue hair with dark blue eyes. In the manga version, he has light green eyes. He is tall and wears the standard Jujutsu Tech uniform with trousers and boots.
As a jujutsu sorcerer, Megumi wanted to protect people especially those who he sees as kind. He has this mentality that the world is unfair and his role as a sorcerer is to give good people a chance to live. He thinks that this belief is irrational and selfish which is why he doesn’t consider himself a hero.
What Is Megumi’s Power in Jujutsu Kaisen?
In terms of power, Sukuna and Gojo acknowledged that Megumi has the potential to become a powerful sorcerer. His main technique is the Ten Shadows Technique that came from the Zenin clan. With this ability, he can manifest, control, and communicate with Shikigami from any shadow. He can control up to 10 Shikigami and each of those has its unique abilities. Some of these are Divine Dogs, owl-like Shikigami, and serpents, among others.
As mentioned, each Shikigami has a unique ability and one of those shikigami can inherit the cursed energy of other shikigami (once decimated) to develop an upgraded shikigami. Megumi can also summon the Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga. It is a powerful shikigami that can challenge the Gojo family. No sorcerer can exorcise it as of this writing.
He also has a domain expansion called Chimera Shadow Garden that is filled with fluid-like shadows. In this dimension, he can create various Shikigami. He can even make a duplicate of himself. This domain expansion is still incomplete and is still in working progress.
Aside from those, Megumi showed mastery in using conventional weaponry and cursed tools. His main tool is the sword that has a jet-black blade. He usually keeps it within his own shadow. The jujutsu sorcerer also has enhanced strength, speed, durability, endurance, and reflexes.
