The First Star Wars: Rogue One Movie Poster Looks Emotional

Gareth Edwards' standalone Star Wars film won't be coming out in theaters until next year, but it already got a fan poster that would keep fans excited. This one was designed by Ryan Crain and Mark Edwards, and it features the beautiful model Scruffy Rebel, posing in a stellar costume. Check it out:

Here's what Crain said about his poster:

This pose and image was the shot that really spoke to me so I decided to start the series off with it. I love how intimate and emotional it is, is she thinking about the friends she has lost in battle or maybe she is preparing herself for the upcoming fight? It's whatever you want it to be, and that is what is so cool about this poster. It can lead the viewer in so many directions.

That film poster looks amazing, and I wish that the official one would resemble somethign like this, but this image is not based on Rogue One since Lucasfilm/Disney really haven't revealed any details about it.

Meanwhile, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released in theaters December 18, 2015.
