Ever since Marvel Comics sold off the rights to live-action usage of their characters to different movie studios in the 90's, the characters have been tricky to keep track of. With Disney, Fox, and Sony owning the rights to most of the Marvel characters, it was still confusing to some fans but now that Disney has just acquired 20th Century Fox, it's much simpler, and thanks to Geek Twins, we got an infographic that shows who owns which characters now. Check it out:
As you can see above, everything 20th Century Fox owned is now in Disney's giant circle. The rights for Namor and She-Hulk are still owned by Universal Pictures so they probably won't join the Marvel Cinematic Universe anytime soon. Sony's Spider-Man spinoff universe will soon release its films like Venom soon but if Spider-Man can join the MCU, maybe other characters from the Spider-Verse will also join in the future.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to release in theaters on May 4, 2018.
