My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! or HameFura for short was originally a light novel. J-Novel Club got the license for it to be released in North America. Eventually, a manga adaptation was made in 2017. The popularity of manga and light novels made the anime adaptation possible in 2020. The second season was released in July 2021.
The story is about Catarina Claes who came from a noble family. She unexpectedly bumps her head and regains the memories of her past life. She was then reborn in Fortune Lover, an otome game, and she is the game’s villainess.
Good news for those who are already a member of Crunchyroll as the streaming site offers the anime. The site also offers an English dub for those who prefer to watch in this kind of setup. Other languages available are Russian and Japanese.
The site offers a 14-day free trial for those who are new to the site. After that, fans must become a member to enjoy watching the series. Crunchyroll members can enjoy tons of perks like no ads, unlimited access to the site’s library, and more.
Unfortunately, the anime is not available on Netflix as of this writing. Fans might have to wait for further announcements regarding this or turn to another streaming site like Crunchyroll to binge-watch the series before they watch Season 2.
Just like Netflix, it seems like Hulu is not yet offering the series. Those who already have a membership on the streaming site can check out the other shows available there like My Hero Academia and Soul Eater.
My Next Life as a Villainess is not accessible on Funimation for now. Although there is no official announcement that the streaming site will never offer the show, those who wish to see the series can consider catching the series on Crunchyroll instead.
