Boruto: Naruto Next Generations continues what the hit manga and anime Naruto started. It is a spin-off and a sequel that moves with the same concept and same characters but the protagonist is no longer Naruto, but his son, Boruto.

The first episode premiered on April 5, 2017. The Boruto series also has a movie that one can see as well if you decide to watch the series. It feels like a part of the series was turned into a movie. What makes the show intriguing, especially for Naruto fans, is that the show tells what happened to popular characters of Naruto after Naruto Shippuden.

The concept alone makes fans wonder if Boruto will follow his dad’s footsteps or will he have his own Ninja way? Aside from that, a lot of anime fans are wondering if this show is worth watching or not. Find out!

Whether a show is good or bad depends on the perspective of the person watching the series. Some people might like this type of show, others might not. But if you are coming from a perspective of a Naruto fan, the answer would be: Boruto is not good.

The whole Naruto series’ impact is too great, and the standard is set too high so when you tried to watch Boruto, it will be hard not to compare the two. Naruto fans would be used to intriguing characters and intense plot which Boruto lacks.

Sure, there are a lot of interesting scenes in Boruto but it cannot be compared to what Naruto had before. One example would be the Chunin exams. Naruto’s Chunin exams is one of the best arcs of the whole series. It was full of intriguing characters and intense fights. But when you watched Boruto’s version, it lacked excitement.
