  • The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6 Release Date, Release ...
There’s no stopping The Falcon and The Winter Soldier as it nears the end of the season in Episode 6 so set your countdown for the finale with the release date and time with everything you need to know to be well equipped for the upcoming episode including a previous episode recap, theories, spoilers, leaks, and all that there is for the canon series. Without a doubt, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier shakes up the Marvel Cinematic Universe with everything that has happened since the inception of the series. It introduced new players in the game with a new Captain America of John Walker and his partner, Battlestar Lemar Hoskins, the Flag Smashers going for one world, one people, Isaiah Bradley, a super-soldier forgotten by history, and Joaquin Torres. It also had its share of recurring characters with Sharon Carter in Madripoor, Baron Zemo being a helpful tour guide as they call him, the Dora Milaje pursuing Zemo, and even Batroc the Leaper appearing on the series. The game surely changes as the world comes back and tries to recover from the blip. We also get to see a more human side to our titular characters with Bucky still suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder and with Sam facing a financial struggle that his sister confides in him to sell their history, the boat they grew up in. Warning! This portion may contain spoilers for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Read at your own risk! What happened in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5? In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5, Truth, bears a title hitting close to home as Sam and Bucky both embrace their truths and goes on to the path they are supposed to take, even with Walker having to face his truth of losing the title of Captain America and Zemo having his truth being taken by the Dora Milaje, plus the wisdom of truth from Isaiah to Sam. Episode 5 picks up where it left in Episode 4 where Walker runs away after killing a flag smasher. He ended up on an abandoned train station where he was followed by Sam and Bucky that ended in a fight between the three while taking the bloody shield. Sam’s wings may have been torn down by Walker in the process but in the end, Sam gets the shield with the help of Bucky. Meanwhile, the followers of the Flag Smashers were apprehended with Karli nowhere to be found. Sam meets with Torres to discuss what happened with Walker and discussing the steps they could take in finding Karli. Sam ended up leaving the wings to Torres, a bizarrely wise guy, saying he “keep them” seemingly hinting at his takeover as the new Falcon. Walker comes back and he has been stripped off of the title of Captain America. Despite his attempts to explain, the senator who gave him the authority as Captain America took the same away from him. Walker explodes saying how they made him and yet, he was given an honorable discharge, removing him from the ranks and taking away all the benefits. He was firm saying “I am Captain America.” The surprise character arrives declaring her boots aren’t made for walking. (A real great entrance, by the way, and a nice callback to Nancy Sinatra’s song) While Walker and his wife are talking, Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine arrives introducing herself, even saying she could be called just “Val” but keep it in your head. (Dem hoops and heels don’t lie, girl, you slay!) She says that Walker is right with his actions and that taking the serum is the “second best choice he ever made in his life” next to marrying his “firecracker of a wife,” and next to picking up when she calls him. She also shared that the shield doesn’t belong to the government per se and that it is in a legal gray area. Bucky found Zemo on the memorial of Sokovia and Zemo declares he is not going to kill him and revealed that he programmed Bucky to kill. Despite Bucky holding a gun to his head, Zemo seems to have accepted his truth only to realize the gun has no bullets. The Dora Milaje appears and takes Zemo who parted with Bucky saying he stricken off his books saying he holds no grudges against him. (Seriously, Zemo, that’s sweet.) Ayo and Bucky converse that Zemo will be taken to the Raft and Ayo says that the White Wolf could be needed in Wakanda some other time. Bucky asks for a favor – one we see later in the episode. Meanwhile, Sam goes to Isaiah bringing the shield seeking some enlightenment on what went wrong. Isaiah declares that being black has hardships. Isaiah, later on, reveals the death of his wife he never got the chance to be with again and how they were experimented on with something they didn’t know, and the story of how he busted out his friends captured. Isaiah continued the story on how 30 years, he was experimented on, until a nurse took pity on her and declared him dead, even giving him the letters that his wife wrote him. He said he’s already a dead man walking, his truth of being erased in history. He said, “they will never let a Black man be Captain America.” (His words would make you cry, guys, have some tissues with you.) Sam comes home to his family and learned from his nephews that Sarah would not sell the boat. Sam fixes the boat and to his surprise, Bucky is there with a present, one he presumably asked the Wakandans as a favor. Both of them bonded over fixing the boat and in a hilarious exchange, Sam warns Bucky not to flirt with his sister. (Sorry, Sam, he’s irresistible.) Sam offered Bucky to stay with them. On the other hand, Walker went to the parents of Lemar to pay his respects. Lemar’s mother shared how Lemar was so proud of Walker and to be his partner. While walking on the streets, he saw his poster as Captain America and lingered on it. On the other side of the world in Madripoor, Sharon seems to be cooking something in her sleeves talking to Batroc saying she has a job for him that she would pay double and he wouldn’t regret saying yes to her offer. Back in Sam’s home, Bucky and Sam had a heart-to-heart talk on how they would be facing their truths and the legacy of the shield being a complicated one. Bucky apologizes to Sam and how the shield is the closest he has left of a family making him ask about what’s left of him, and Sam, in turn, gives a truth bomb saying Steve is gone, and that Bucky has to stop letting people tell him who he is. “Do the work,” Sam said and he wasn’t amending, he is avenging. Sam talks about closure and how only Bucky could give it to a person on the list, that he could start with one. They are partners now, co-workers, “a couple of guys with a mutual friend who’s already gone.” Sam returns to his sister, Sarah, who tells him he fights both battles, and he proceeds to train himself to be the new Captain America. In New York, Karli and the Flag Smashers meet with Batroc the Leaper where they would disrupt the vote of the GRC on the Patch Act which would take home the refugees or internationally displaced people back to where they originated before the blip. Sam receives a call from Torres saying that the Flag Smashers are in New York. The episode ends with Sam opening the Wakandan box from Bucky.   The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 Post-Credits Scene Just before the whole episode ends, a mid-credits scene is squeezed in between the credits where it shows Walker forging his very own shield. The words of Val may have planted the idea in his head that the shield is just a shield, it’s the person who carries it, making him decide to make his own.   The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6 Theories Now that the penultimate episode arrived, some questions have already been given answers in another episode of a perfect mixture of drama and action, every moment either a heartfelt one or an exciting action scene. The theories of Sharon Carter being the Power Broker gets stronger with the phone call that Sharon gave to Batroc, seemingly helping Karli and the Flag Smashers with their cause to fight GRC. With the identity of the Power Broker yet to be revealed, we could only theorize and guess who he or she might really be as another candidate on who can be the Power Broker arrives. The surprise character of Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine shakes the world with the tone of her heels hitting the ground and her conversation with Walker bearing weight. Her character, reportedly, was set to be seen first in Black Widow, however, the schedule was pushed back and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier came out first. What storm could she be bringing into the MCU? With the Flag Smashers succeeding, it poses a threat to the GRC and the world now that they are working with Batroc the Leaper who is seemingly under the control of Sharon Carter. Another threat is that Walker is loose, a super-soldier who gets violent with an emotional breakdown. How will Sam, who now embraced his path of being the new Captain America, and Bucky handle this? And now that Zemo is in Wakanda and Ayo saying that the White Wolf could use some time there, would Bucky now be embracing his new way as the White Wolf? Given the advice of Sam, Bucky may be apologizing to Mr. Nakajima and finally give closure to the death of his son. Are you ready for another game-changing finale?   Where to Watch The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6? The Falcon and The Winter Soldier along with all the other Marvel series released or upcoming as announced for Phase Four of the MCU will be exclusively streaming on Disney+ where it could also be available in 4k. The series is Rated 16+ which makes it unsuitable for children and given the turn of events in all the previous episodes, you know by now why is that.   When is the Release Date and Time of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6? The season finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier arrives with Episode 6 available on April 23, 2021, at 3 AM on Disney+.   The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6 Countdown for the Finale The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6Countdown (function(d, s, id) { var js, pjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//www.tickcounter.com/static/js/loader.js"; pjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, pjs); }(document, "script", "tickcounter-sdk")); The season finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier arrives next week and there’s no pumping the breaks as truths have been laid out for our characters in time for a bang in the end. Are you excited? Given that Marvel has a way of twisting things in a way they would leave a lot of questions in the end and set up the upcoming releases on their slate, how much do you think the season finale would give? The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ends next week and expect a lot more action coming with Sam and Bucky finally facing The Flag Smashers in their attempt to take down the GRC, now with the help from Batroc who has been paid in double by Sharon Carter. Is Sharon now on the dark side, is she a villain now? And with the upcoming episode being the last, will we be able to learn the true identity of the Power Broker? As for Walker who is clearly not stepping away from being his very own version of Captain America, just what exactly does he plan on doing with forging a shield of his own? Of course, we all have questions. Tune in to the season finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier next Friday for answers. The live-action film of the iconic game, Mortal Kombat 2021 is a few days away from release, and we’re all just as excited as playing the game seeing our beloved characters come into life with a film to introduce it to a whole new generation and here is how you can watch it if you are located in the UK, are you ready for it? Mortal Kombat brings in a “sickeningly violent” film, as the director of the film himself, Simon McQuoid shared in a recently released featurette that it received an R-Rating making it unsuitable for children. As the directorial debut of McQuiod, he shared to EpicStream how his background in-game advertisements came in handy in directing a film based on such a legendary game. Produced by James Wan, Todd Garner, and Bennett, the story follows an orphaned MMA fighter who knows nothing of his lineage, gets his life disrupted when Bi-Han/ Sub-Zero pursues him. With the help of Jax, he was instructed to search for Sonya Blade. He later arrives in Lord Raiden’s sanctuary where he trains with Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Kano, to prepare for the threat posed by the Outworld led by Shang-Tsung. A staggering ensemble stars Mortal Kombat with Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Mechad Brooks as Jax, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Hiroyuki Sanasa as Hanzo Hasashi/ Scorpion, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han/ Sub-Zero, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Max Huang as Kung Lao, Matilda Kimber as Emily Young, and Laura Brent as Allison Young. Still a week from its release, a sequel for Mortal Kombat now comes in question and even their stars McNamee and Lawson shared with EpicStream that they are hoping for it. Who wouldn’t, right? It’s like a game that transcended in 30 years and still lives. It’s that iconic! Mortal Kombat will be released in theaters and it will be released on the same day via HBO Max for those who opt to stay at home so long as they have an active subscription on HBO Max which costs $14.99 a month giving them access to the vast library of HBO Max along with everything in the slate of Warner Bros. for this year. Just like for those living in Canada, Mortal Kombat will also be available for rent on some other streaming services. • Amazon's Lord of the Rings Series Costs Almost Five Times More Than ...
There is no question that Game of Thrones upped the notch of the game with both the scope and the scale, setting the bar high of what a fantasy series should be on television, but it seems that a challenger has accepted the dare with new reports hinting that upcoming TV series of The Lord of The Rings by Amazon Studios raises the bar even higher with the cost of the series. As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, the new series of The Lord of The Rings is expected to cost a staggering $500 million for a number of seasons making it a record-breaking series of being the largest one ever made. The debut season reportedly turns the heat of the game up with the production costing $465 million. As told by the Minister for Economic Development and Tourism of New Zealand, Stuart Nash to Morning Report, “what I can tell you is Amazon is going to spend about $650 million in season one alone. This is fantastic, it really is ... this will be the largest television series ever made." Reports go around that Amazon commits to have five seasons of The Lord of The Rings to be filmed in New Zealand, not to mention that spin-off series could also happen. The original trilogy of The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit were all filmed in the same country. Comparing it to the game-changer Game of Thrones with a production cost of $100 million, the margin of difference proves to be too big of a cost. Game of Thrones’ production cost fluctuates throughout the series with the episode count changing and the battles increasing. It started with almost $6 million for season one which eventually became approximately $15 million every episode in season eight. With The Lord of the Rings TV series entering the game, it seems to bring in a change, one that could really challenge what Game of Thrones has established. Based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Amazon Studios brings into the television scene the legends of the Middle Earth in the Second Age, taking the viewers back to the kingdom of glory falling into ruins and testing heroes to their edge. It’s the return to the depths of Misty Mountains, to the beauty of Lindon forests, to Númenor’s kingdom on a captivating island, and to the various places on the map. The Lord of The Rings TV Series of Amazon brings an ensemble of the star-studded casts with Robert Aramayo, Nazanin Boniadi, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Tom Budge, Owain Arthur, Joseph Mawle, and more. Showrunners of the series are J.D. Payne. And Patrick McKay. The Lord of The Rings is expected to debut in late 2021. Related: Elijah Wood Criticizes Branding of Amazon's The Lord of the Rings Series

  • Will Mortal Kombat 2021 Movie Be On Netflix?
Mortal Kombat has been a beloved game for 30 years that various generations learned to love over the years and this year, 2021, a new live-action movie arrives to bring the game into life once more and introducing it to a whole new generation but will it be on Netflix, though? With the ongoing pandemic causing the whole world to retreat to homes, entertainment hasn’t been scarce with the presence of streaming platforms offering various film titles and series one could access in the comforts of their couches with one touch of a button. The industry of film also continued with these, releasing films supposedly on theaters, online. As the situation eases a little, theaters are slowly reopening and films are starting to be back on the big screen. Still, with many choosing to stay at home, there are same-day releases on streaming platforms. Mortal Kombat sets an example for that as it would be having a theatrical release as well as a same-day release online through select streaming platforms online. An amazing ensemble stars Mortal Kombat with Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Mechad Brooks as Jax, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Hiroyuki Sanasa as Hanzo Hasashi/ Scorpion and Joe Taslim as Bi-Han/ Sub-Zero. Also joining the cast would be Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Max Huang as Kung Lao, Matilda Kimber as Emily Young, and Laura Brent as Allison Young. The plot of Mortal Kombat follows Cole Young, an orphan with no idea of his lineage and bearing a mark he knows nothing of, gets his quiet life disrupted when Bi-Han/ Sub-Zero hunts him down. He met Jax, a person with the same mark, and was instructed to look for Sonya Blade. He then finds Lord Raiden and his sanctuary for the people with the mark and there, Cole trains with Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Kano, preparing for the arrival of Shang-Tsung. Simon McQuoid, the director of Mortal Kombat, teams with producers James Wan, Todd Garner, and Bennett Walsh, in an R-Rated film with scenes that are “sickeningly violent” as he shared in a recently released featurette. As early as now, a lot are hyped that even stars of the film themselves, McNamee and Lawson, shared to EpicStream that they are hoping for a sequel. Speaking of a sequel to Mortal Kombat, the director himself said to EpicStream that it is for the audience to decide whether there would be one.   Will Mortal Kombat 2021 Movie Be On Netflix? Unfortunately, the film will not be on Netflix the same day as its release. There is also no confirmation yet whether the film will turn up on the said streaming platform sometime soon. For now, it will not be on Netflix as it will be on another streaming platform. Despite that, Netflix holds a lot of titles one can enjoy from movies to series, and even anime for the subscription cost of $8.99 per month for the basic plan, $13.99 monthly for the standard plan, and $17.99 a month for the premium plan. Mortal Kombat will be released in theaters on April 23, 2021, and it will also have a same-day release on HBO Max where the film would be on for 31 days from the release date. One can access Mortal Kombat along with all the titles under HBO Max like the whole slate of Warner Bros. for this year for the price of a subscription costing $14.99 a month. • Is There A Post-Credits Scene in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ...
Following the footsteps of its predecessor series, WandaVision, another canon series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe party of having a post-credits scene where the season finale is being teased by Episode 5 in the after credits. Marvel has proven to have a signature touch in almost every film in the MCU and now, even the series carries the trend of having a scene squeezed either between two credits or the mid-credits scene, or a scene after all the credits rolled. Some would say that you’re never truly a fan of the MCU if you leave the moment when you see the credits roll because you never know what the after-credits would tease. It has been a common practice of Marvel to include an after-credits scene. With WandaVision setting a precedent of being the first Disney+ series of the MCU and it had three episodes with an after-credits scene, it seems that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is following in its footsteps despite having fewer episodes. Warning! This portion may contain spoilers for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Read at your own risk! Is There A Post-Credits Scene in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5? Don’t turn off your televisions yet as there is a mid-credits scene in Episode 5 of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. In Episode 5, Truth, an after-credits scene reveals that Walker is up to something! It seems that his conversation with Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine planted something in his head that led to his actions. In said conversation, Contessa Valentina told Walker that the shield does not per se belong to the government, that it belongs to a legal gray area. This might have urged him to make his very own version of the shield of Captain America. After seeing a poster of him following his visit to the parents of Lemar Hoskins, we see Walker forging his shield, seemingly not letting go of being Captain America. Earlier in the episode, he faced the very senator that granted him the title of the new Captain America only to be stripped off of the title. He was firmly telling them that he did what has to be done. Despite trying his best to convince them not to do such a thing, even telling them that they made him, the title was taken from him and he was ordered to return the shield immediately. Walker was called by the senator a lucky man as he wouldn’t spend his life somewhere else in respect of the medals of valor that he received beforehand. He still walks as a free man despite not being considered a veteran and not be entitled to retirement benefits. All that happened seemed to have him full of it that he wanted to prove himself that he was the right choice as the new Captain America.   What Does This Mean for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and in the MCU? With the threat of the Flag Smashers about to take on the GRC, this could make Walker another threat as another super-soldier on the loose. It seems that there would be two shields in existence in the MCU, one that Captain America passed onto Sam which Sam currently holds onto and practices with, and one that Walker has been forging in the post-credits scene. Of course, there can only be one Captain America. With the legacy of the shield, a copy of it could mean a division of who really is who. It is expected that Walker will not stop until he gets revenge on Sam and Bucky until he proves he’s the Captain America of the new age. With Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine seems to be backing him, he holds on to the fight. What do you think Val could bring to Walker to urge him to do so? What could the call be about? Are you excited for what happens in the season finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? The Falcon and The Winter Soldier returns with its season finale on Friday at 3 AM, only on Disney+. • Who is Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine Explained in The Falcon ...
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier finally revealed who the surprise cameo is and with only four words, she’s altering the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever with her debut as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine who reveals herself in aid of John Walker in Episode 5. But first, who is she and how will her arrival in the MCU affect the rest of Phase Four? The canon series definitely has a lot of characters, old and new, which brings the story to a whole new level giving us a shocking twist of events. With recurring characters of the titular roles, Sharon Carter, Baron Zemo, Batroc the Leaper, and the Dora Milaje, a new set of characters arrive with the government’s new Captain America John Walker, Lemar Hoskins, Joaquin Torres, Isaiah Bradley, and more. A new name arrives with the MCU newcomers as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, also known as Madame Hydra, makes her MCU debut in Episode 5 of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, the surprise character teased by showrunner Malcolm Spellman. Who is she? What will her appearance mean to the rest of the MCU? Warning! This portion may contain spoilers for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Read at your own risk! In Episode 5 of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Truth, when Walker was stripped off of the title of Captain America by the Senator who granted the same to him, he walked out of the room and sat beside his wife when a woman approached them declaring her boots aren’t for walking. She had a conversation with Walker and said what he did was right. She introduced herself as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, even correcting herself as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, then proceeding to say she can be called just “Val” but “not too loud, though, only in your head.” She said that the shield doesn’t belong to the government per se and that it belongs to a legal gray area. She told Walker to answer his phone when she calls and says the four magical words, “I’ll be in touch.”   Who is Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine? A countess herself, Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Val for short, is known to be a triple agent in Marvel comics being part of three organizations that conflict with one another: Leviathan, S.H.I.E.L.D., and Hydra. She grew up learning everything about being a spy as her parents have served the Leviathan in her formative years. The Leviathan is a secret terrorist group based in Russia and in the Cold War, her family has been given the identity of de Fontaine. When her parents died, she was taken into custody by the Leviathan. She became a great asset and she took a different persona which caught the attention of Dum Dum Dugan, one of the members of Captain America’s Howling Commandos, and an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. when it was newly formed. Val was recruited by Dugan and on behalf of Leviathan having an eye on S.H.I.E.L.D., she learned the ways of S.H.I.E.L.D. through the academy. When Nick Fury saw her, he was amazed at her and had a fling with her. Thereon, she established her own cover story to the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. by telling Fury that her parents' death shouldn’t be in vain. She also infiltrated HYDRA within S.H.I.E.L.D. During the aftermath of the Skrull Invasion, when S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded, Val took on the moniker of Madame Hydra. Despite being a triple agent, her loyalty lies on one organization alone, her roots, Leviathan.   Who is Madame Hydra? Originally, Val isn’t the first bearer of the moniker of Madame Hydra. It is a woman called by the name Viper, an orphan who was struck by a tragedy who survived by being a criminal. She made a pact with Chthon, an evil entity, slowing her aging. She found herself in Madripoor where she trained with Seraph against the Hand and even helped Wolverine from Sabretooth. Viper became a member of Hydra and quickly made her way up to the ranks. Upon the belief that the Supreme Hydra, Baron von Strucker, Viper donned the name Madame Hydra becoming the leader of the evil organization. At one point, she even became the princess of Madripoor. This is not the first time Madame Hydra appeared on the screen. It could be remembered in ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that when Aida created the framework, she lorded the halls as Madame Hydra or Viper. In said framework, she headed the Agents of Hydra were in the framework, she became the ruler of her own world.   What does Val’s Madame Hydra mean for the MCU? Whether Val would take on either comic origin or becoming a mix of both with the introduction of Madripoor in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, this time would surely not be the last we’ll be seeing her. Played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, it was revealed that the series isn’t her supposed MCU debut. According to Vanity Fair, Val was “slated to first appear in the Black Widow film.” Given her comic book origin of being a Russian spy, it would not be a surprise if she would appear in Black Widow as well. Whether she will be appearing in the film, we’ll definitely get to see more of her in the future as she seems to be the new Nick Fury or Baron von Strucker of Phase Four. Her character opens up the door that Hydra or even S.H.I.E.L.D. still subsists and would return for more in this phase of the MCU. Given that the Secret Invasion is slated as a series, her character signals that big bad things are coming for Marvel. In the comics, it was Val who Fury discovers first to be a Skrull. Could she be in the Secret Invasion as well? In the Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Val has the potential to be the Power Broker. With the comic book origin of Madame Hydra hailing from Madripoor and even becoming a princess there, Val may be the Power Broker all along. However, some theories say that it is Sharon Carter. Do you think Val is the Power Broker? It seems that she’ll still appear in the finale episode and we sure would be waiting for her call just as Walker would, presumably, now that he knows someone supports his decision and somehow planted it into his head that he could make a shield of his own and be his very own Captain America despite being stripped off the title. Let’s see how Val would bring the storm into the MCU. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier returns for the season finale on Friday, at 3 AM, via Disney+. • Marvel Actors' Unexpected Returns in the Franchise is Proof That They ...
It’s no question that Marvel Cinematic Universe holds a pool of talented actors and actresses that comes back from time to time after appearing in one film or series. One of the recurring characters in the MCU, Kat Dennings, who play Darcy Lewis, has shared that the unexpected returns of the characters in different films or series prove that they will forever be in the MCU. Kat Dennings first made her MCU debut in Thor (2011) as Darcy Lewis and appeared again in Thor: The Dark World (2013) and has been in the shadows until WandaVision where she reprises her role after the long wait for her character’s return. In an interview with TheWrap, Dennings said, “Once you’re in the MCU, you’re in the MCU for life. You never know when you might get a call, but I certainly didn’t expect it.” Dennings added, “‘WandaVision’ was the last one I expected to be in because Darcy has had absolutely no contact with anybody in the sphere of the show.” Her co-star in WandaVision, Randall Park was also surprised when he got a call that he would be in WandaVision. Park first appeared in Ant-Man and The Wasp as an FBI agent monitoring Scott Lang. And while his character there was hilarious, in WandaVision, his tone is quite serious. Park said he immediately said yes when asked to return. This is nothing new with Marvel. Recurring characters are no surprise in the MCU. Being on board the MCU, one immediately becomes a part of a family, there’s no escaping it. The trend continues from the films to the series which allowed the expansion of the MCU to the television scene. Once you’re in it, you sign for a deal that could go beyond a one-time appearance. Recently, in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp returns as Sharon Carter along with Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo, and even Georges St-Pierre as Batroc the Leaper. The Dora Milaje reprises their roles as well. Wyatt Russell also shared that he knows that signing for a role in the MCU means being in more than just one project. In upcoming projects like She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo will be reprising his role as Bruce Banner along with The Incredible Hulk’s Tim Roth as Abomination. In Captain Marvel 2, Teyonnah Paris’ Monica Rambeau from WandaVision returns. This strategy of Marvel proves how all these films and shows are completely intertwined with each other and connected in some other ways other than sharing the same title. It shows how even the smallest details are stitched up with the thought that everything is linked from one another from the start. Keep an eye on every character you encounter because you never know when they’ll return. Even those already dead, like Loki, returns. With Marvel, anything is really possible, especially now that the universe opens to a wider door with the introduction of time travel and the multiverse. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is Marvel’s current release with new episodes every Friday on Disney+. Related: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Releases Dora Milaje Featurette
