Yu-Gi-Oh! Creator Will Kick Off Upcoming Marvel/Shonen Jump Collaboration

Marvel has always had an interesting relationship with manga, as anyone who remembers the Marvel Mangaverse will tell you. The company continues to have a partnership with several manga companies, producing comics like Marvel's Zombies Assemble. It seems like that relationship is going to a huge place as Marvel will be teaming up with none other than Shonen Jump for several stories featuring Marvel characters.

As if that wasn't exciting enough, the first mangaka involved will be Kazuki Takahashi, who created Yu-Gi-Oh! People fell in love with the card game and anime, both of which still get new installments. It's not yet known who Takahashi will use and what the story will be about but it should be fun for fans of Marvel and Shonen Jump.

It will be interesting to see who else will be involved, with many of us hoping that My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi is part of this. Since this is advertised to have six parts, there will likely be six mangakas involved with this project. The stories will be printed on Shonen Jump Plus magazine, though no proper release date has been announced.

There are no plans to release it in the West yet, though we're all hoping for one. Considering how projects like Zombies Assemble and Avengers K were released worldwide, let's hope this one comes out too, whatever it's called.

Who else is excited for this Marvel/Shonen Jump collaboration?
