You Can Now Buy Game of Thrones Season 6 Premiere Tickets for Over $10,000

You can now be among the very first people on Earth to see Game of Thrones Season 6 – that is if you have $10,000.

The Season 6 premiere of the hit HBO series will debut on April 10 at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theater.

The Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere tickets are being sold at about $10,000 by luxury concierge sites. That $10,000 actually includes two tickets as well as entrance to the premiere after party. Not bad? Not really.

According to TMZ, attendees aren't assured of any photo ops, autographs, or even good seats!

Another option to buy the tickets is via CharityBuzz. As of this writing, there have been 20 bids already. The next bid is at $12,250. While this one seems to cost higher, at least you know your money will be going to the U.S.-Ireland Alliance, an organization "dedicated to consolidating existing relations between the United States and the island of Ireland and building that relationship for the future."

Apparently, some die-hard fans of the series have been known to get the cash for these kinds of stuff one way or another.

I'm excited to see Game of Thrones Season 6, but I for one think the prices of those tickets are crazy. The premiere is only a couple of weeks away. Even if I had that kind of money, I think I'd rather exercise patience and wait for the first episode, which could leak online anyway.

Game of Thrones will return to HBO on April 24. You can watch the Season 6 Teaser here.
