Yondu Gets His Own Fan-Made EW Cover As Mary Poppins

Disney's bringing back Hollywood's magical nanny back to the big screen and with Emily Blunt being made to play Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Returns, Entertainment Weekly couldn't help but give what might be one of the highest-profile sequels its very own cover stories on their upcoming issue.

It's a beautiful cover, however because Yondu becoming Mary Poppins has become one of the most popular gags from Marvel's emotionally charged Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, fans couldn't help but play around with the new magazine cover and mix Yondu with the magical nanny.

Updating the spread with his take of Yondu as the floating English nanny, concept artist BossLogic gives as Yondu Poppins complete with his arrow and a tiny Baby Groot sticking out of his cap.

Check out the hilarious image down here:

BossLogic who's known for his working taking casting rumors and giving them potential looks really does a good job of Yondu Poppins. The photo seems so legit, it could pass off as an actual Mary Poppins cover for Yondu in an alternate Universe. It's so funny, even Guardians of the Galaxy film director James Gunn just had to retweet the image.

Featuring Emily Blunt and a few other newer actors, Mary Poppins returns will also feature Angela Lansbury as the Baloon Lad and Dick Van Dyke as Bert's son.

Mary Poppins Returns hits cinemas on Dec. 25, 2018.
