X-Men Producer Says 20th Century Fox Is Discussing The Return Of X-23

While all eyes were on Hugh Jackman as he played out his Wolverine swan song in Logan, fans found themselves taken away not just by the critically acclaimed Australian actor's performance but also by break-out star Dafne Keen's depiction of X-23.

Unafraid, fierce yet tinted with emotional vulnerability, Keen's Laura Kinney was made such a deep impression on the audience. Now, everyone wants to know when X-23 returns to the big screen and according to X-Men producer Hutch Parker, 20th Century Fox is open to the possibility of exploring the mutant's story even further.

Speaking in an interview with Screen Rant, Parker teased the return of Keen.

"Anything is possible. I think part of the fun of this universe is, as it's expanded and it's gotten more off-shoots, there are ways to potentially explore X-23 further. It's something we've been talking about a little bit and have, frankly, going back a bit. So that's a possibility."

Though the writers would have to address some very important points if they tried to make an X-23 movie after Logan, it's impossible to imagine the studio passing up on the chance to bring back Keen to the franchise. Fox just can't leave a talented child actress like that to sit it out on the benches. If anything, fans are probably going to be seeing Keen return to her claws sometime soon.

Starring Hugh Jackman as Logan, Patrick Stewart as Charles, Dafne Keen as Laura, Boyd Holbrook as Pierce and Stephen Merchant as Caliban, Logan is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
