Fox has released the new Deadpool 2 trailer and it's not only filled with more action than fans expected but it also features the debut of X-Force. When characters like Cable, Domino, and Shatterstar were confirmed for the film, fans immediately thought that this would be a prelude to the long-rumored X-Force movie.
There is a fun twist, however; X-Force has to take down Cable. It's a neat twist since Deadpool started out as an enemy Cable's group, then called the New Mutants. Reversing the roles like this should be a lot of fun.
While he won't likely be the main villain, the new Deadpool 2 trailer presents Cable as an antagonistic force. The disgruntled future son of Cyclops is looking for a mutant child and if previous Cable storylines mean anything, that kid has something to do with the future sucking.
It's not all X-Force though, as the trailer also shows the return of Vanessa, Dopinder the taxi driver, Blind Al, Weasel, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Colossus. We also see Deadpool spinning on Professor X's chair, which hopefully means Patrick Stewart is the rumored cameo character added via reshoots.
Deadpool 2 comes out on May 17. Enjoy the trailer until then.
