Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will mark the first appearance of Wonder Woman/Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) on the silver screen in 75 years. However, while we know she'll be playing a major role, trailers and promo materials have revealed few details on the Amazonian superheroine.

Now, with the DC film only a few weeks away, we're getting an idea about how much influence she'll have in the bigger picture.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Director Zack Snyder, producer Deborah Snyder, and Gal Gadot herself are revealing more details about Wonder Woman.

We've seen Prince in a glamorous event talking to Bruce Wayne. Working only for herself, Prince will be competing with Wayne in a mission to steal Luthor's secrets. As the EW article points out, she'll be "more like James Bond himself" in this movie.

Zack Snyder said as much:

The hardest piece, and probably the most rewarding, was Wonder Woman. You have to establish her but don't give it away; don't cash it all in. She's enough in the movie where you definitely feel her presence. And she makes a huge impact on the film. But there are giant mysteries still surrounding her at the end of the movie.

This move to make Prince's role more substantial comes after a growing audience who reportedly want to see more powerful women.

As the EW article put it, "It can't just be a boys' club anymore."

Wonder Woman stand-alone film producer, Deborah Snyder, said:

I can't get over the fact that she's going to be 75 years old and this is the first time she's gracing the silver screen. I think all these things — truth and love and wanting peace and all the things that she represents – is something that we all look up to and would want. In order for women to believe that they can do this, they have to see it.

Gadot is very much proud of the role too, especially since she's mother to a 4-year-old girl. She said:

Most of the movies, the men are in charge, the men are the most powerful ones. You've had Superman and Batman and everyone, but Wonder Woman was never there.
I'm so happy when she grows up she's going to see a female figure she can be inspired by.

Diana Prince's occupation has been revealed recently beside a Wonder Woman bust in Brazil. Not only is Wonder Woman strong, her alter-ego Diana Prince is smart too. It looks like the character has a lot to offer and even more when the Wonder Woman solo film arrives in theaters.

Jaimie Alexander's opinion about DC characters being all about "glitz and glam" is a stark contrast to the details revealed above.

Hopefully, Gadot will bring justice to the iconic character and she'll prove Alexander wrong when the Blindspot actress said "there will never be a better Wonder Woman" than Lynda Carter.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theaters on March 25.
