It's fair to say that Wonder Woman is currently the best DCEU film out right now, thanks to the film's heartfelt message and awesome action sequences. The movie also does a minor retcon to the continuity of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which suggested that she stopped helping people after the events of the first World War. With Justice League out next week and a Wonder Woman sequel planned for 2019, Warner Bros and Gal Gadot have made it clear that Diana never stopped being a hero.

During a press junket that CBR partook in, Gadot stated that Diana kept fighting the good fight for a whole century. While Gadot didn't spoil anything regarding Justice League or the Wonder Woman sequel, she did hint at a more stealthy role for "Diana Prince." The actress states that Diana was always active in helping out man's world, but it's not clear if she was fully decked in amazon armor or working incognito.

"What is clear that is whether or not Wonder Woman was out there or incognito, she was always very involved, and she was always very active in man's world, and she was always acting to save and to help and to better the world. That's all I can tell you."

Since a Wonder Woman sequel is planned, it will be interesting to see how she's remained active throughout the years. Reports have stated that the second film could be set during the Cold War, which could work since the first installment was a great period piece. Patty Jenkins will be returning for the sequel, so fans can expect the film to be of high quality.

Justice League hits theaters next week, on November 17. Wonder Woman 2 is slated for a December 13, 2019, release.
