Wonder Woman Sequel Could Start Shooting in May

Wonder Woman is famously known as the DCEU's only hit movie, and everyone is waiting for the sequel which is set to come out late next year. As it turns out, the movie is almost underway, and we could be looking at start of production soon.

As per Omega Underground, Warner Bros. is planning to have the Wonder Woman sequel shoot as soon as May 28. Like all other DC films, WW2 is expected to shoot in the UK at WB Studios. Afterwards, the studio is said to be making way for Suicide Squad 2.

The working title for the movie is Magic Hour which has lead some people to believe that the villain would be the magic-user Circe. Rumors have come out that Kristen Wiig is in talks to play the villain Cheetah, and seeing as Circe has a penchant for turning people into animals, Cheetah could very well be one of her henchmen.

Wonder Woman 2 will be another period piece of a film, and this time it will put Diana in America during the Cold War. Patty Jenkins has been signed on to direct once again, and Gal Gadot will be coming back as everyone's favorite DC heroine, Wonder Woman.

The Wonder Woman sequel is aiming for a release on Nov. 1, 2019.
