Will We See Hawkgirl And The Thanagarians In Justice League?

Based on the multiple dissections of the Justice League trailers, fans are quite aware for the possibility of a flashback scene featuring the humans, Amazons, and Atlanteans fighting against Darkseid and his parademons. What's interesting is that a new easter egg has been spotted in the second trailer, and it alludes to Hawkgirl and the Thanagarians.

ComicBookMovie has pointed out that in the split seconds that we get to see the ancient war, there is actually a figure with white wings flying around the battlefield. Some would immediately dismiss this as one of Darkseid's parademons, but the parademons do have more insect-like features, and their guns seem to be firing toward what could possibly be a Thanagarian.

Not much is known about the history of Thanagarians in the comics (I checked), but aside from having wings, they do have a ton of other special abilities. They have incredibly long lifespans —100 year-old Thanagarians look like 30-year-old humans — and they are also a lot stronger as well.

Maybe the creature in the show could be alluding to Hawkman in the comics, but seeing as Wonder Woman is the only female in the Justice League, I would pretty much like to see another woman join in their ranks.

Will the Thanagarians make an appearance? Let's just hope their inclusion doesn't make the overall plot too convoluted again. Besides all this war stuff, we are going to be seeing Atlantis, Gotham, and some other places in the DCCU, and that's a lot. Please don't mess this up, Zack Snyder.

Justice League comes out on Nov. 17.
