Will Smith has taken it to Facebook to share the first ever cast photo of Disney's live-action Aladdin.
In the photo, Smith is seen with his fellow castmates Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Princess Jasmine), and Marwan Kenzari (Jafar). Smith will play the Genie, and we can't to see him show us more of his comedic side with his role. They all look pretty happy as Smith introduces them in the photo's caption. I'm sure many of you are glad that they didn't fully whitewash the principal roles in this one but Disney was just criticized for casting Billy Magnussen to play a prince in the film. Disney was also criticized for casting British actress Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, a Middle Eastern princess, Independent reports.
Aladdin, which is set to be directed by Guy Ritchie, has no release date yet.
