Bright is a little over a month away from its release, and Netflix is helping its viewers get ready for Will Smith and Joel Edgerton's highly anticipated modern fantasy.

The streaming service platform's just rolled out a brand new poster for Bright after recently releasing the second trailer for David Ayer's urban fantasy crime film, and in it, we get to see Smith and Edgerton side by side playing the human and Orc officers Ward and Jakoby.

For those who aren't familiar with Bright's premise, the film brings viewers to a world where humans and magical beings live side by side in modern society. Ward and Jakoby, coming from entirely different races, have to set aside their different prejudices to work together as they try to protect a young female elf and a relic that could destroy the world as they know it if found in the wrong hands.

Here's the synopsis for Bright:

In an alternate present day, humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time. Two police officers, one a human, the other an orc, embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it. Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which, in the wrong hands, could destroy everything.

Netflix has been working on a number of original films like Okja and Extremis, and there's been a lot of anticipation building up over the streaming service's newest addition to its line of originals. With a great premise built on an intriguing world, there's certainly a lot to be excited about when it comes to Bright.

Bright makes its big debut on Netflix on December 22, 2017.
