It's been more than a decade since the third installment of the Blade: Trinity comic-book inspired franchise, was released in theaters in 2004, but hopefully that won't be the last. There's been a lot of talk lately of Wesley Snipes reprising his role as Blade for Marvel, but just last month, a rumor spread online saying that if Marvel decides to move forward with the project, the story will be centeredon Blade's daughter, Fallon Grey instead.
When Huffingtonpost asked him about it during a recent interview, he said:
"There's always a possibility, you know. It's in Marvel's hands. They're controlling the pace and the flow with that. Conversations have been good. They see the value in it. We see the value in it," Snipes said. "I'm still in shape enough and fit enough to handle the role. We'll see how it goes. I don't really know what's going to happen to it yet."
And when asked if Snipes would be interested in seeing Blade's character into the Avengers film franchise, he said:
"That would be interesting. I mean, I know it's in the comic book. It would be interesting to see where they would place him and where he really would fit in," he said. "He's got to bite somebody. I don't know who he's going to bite."
I hope Snipes will reprise his badass role as Blade, and the idea of him interacting with Iron Man, Captain America, and other Marvel characters would be dope. So would you like to see another
