When it comes to production value alone, Westworld is definitely one ambitious show. Everything from the sets to the props is amazing, and the back and forth between the wild west and futuristic workshops make an interesting dynamic.
If you're looking for an HBO series that could rival Game of Thrones when it comes to writing, production value, and nudity, then Westworld is definitely up your alley. With the show full of existential allegories and interesting twists, you might even say that Westworld definitely comes out as a more mature series than Game of Thrones. Who needs dragons when you're busy wondering about what it means to be a human?
Based on the teaser in the end of the first season, Westworld will be expanding its horizons and presenting new worlds. It's been confirmed that we'll be getting Shogunworld this time around, and maybe the show will eventually reveal to us Romanworld or Medievalworld.
Westworld returns to HBO on April 22.
