This is just weird. Fans have been overly analyzing every single shot of the Last Jedi teaser, and some guys at Screen Rant have found that the trailer syncs perfectly to the audio of a teaser for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. You’ll have to watch it to see what I mean:
It’s insane. The clip even matches a shot of Luke’s island when Martha (MARTHA!) Kent tells little Clark to picture an island; even the fade to black transitions sync perfectly well to the clip.
Granted the editors admit that they did a slight edit — the Man of Steel trailer runs for 20 seconds longer — but the similarities are just fun to watch. Now I’m just thinking that somewhere in the studio where they produce trailers, they have a 2-minute teaser template that Man of Steel and The Last Jedi share. Isn’t marketing fun?
