James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has just hit digital, and everyone on the internet is looking back at the blockbuster hit from Marvel Studios. HISHE has already put up their video, and they make fun of how GOTG Vol. 2 should have ended.
Looking back, there were actually some pretty prevalent plot holes in the movie, but to be honest, I’m not really bothered by them. I don’t even agree with the video’s suggestion that Yondu should have used his arrow to get rid of all the Sovereign ships—those things might have been a lot harder to penetrate.
One really weird thing I find about the movie was when everybody falls out of the ship in the third act, they all just land perfectly with their feet on the ground. Even when Nebula falls out of the exploding ship, she’s like a cat that just got off a table.
GOTG Vol. 2 was another huge hit for Marvel, and James Gunn is already working on the third installment of the franchise. It may have to be a while before we get to see the Guardians in their final adventure though—the movie is set to come out after Avengers 4. Most likely we’ll have to wait till 2020 or 2021.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is out on digital now, but you can catch it on Blu-Ray and DVD on Aug. 22.
