Watch: Conan Visits Hideo Kojima and Gets Put in Death Stranding

For years people have been teased by Hideo Kojima for his game Death Stranding, and now the PS4 exclusive is set to come out next month. Just in, Conan O’Brien has revealed that he actually paid Kojima Productions a visit, and they actually put him in the game.

Check it out:

We don’t know if this is really a part of the game, but I wouldn’t put it past Kojima to include an Easter Egg like Conan O’Brien. I mean, Death Stranding already includes several celebrities from Norman Reedus, to Mads Mikkelsen. Heck, even a behind-the-camera celeb like Guillermo del Toro has a part.

For now, Death Stranding is still shrouded in mystery which is kind of its whole appeal. All the previews have been visually striking, but the story just gets more and more confusing. The best we can tell is that Norman Reedus is the playable character Sam Bridges, and he works as a delivery man in a post-apocalyptic world where aliens have somehow separated humanity. That’s why Sam’s mission in the game is to ‘connect’ people once again; it’s probably no coincidence that his last name is literally “Bridges.”

With the Metal Gear storyline kind of hard to follow, I’m kind of worried that Death Stranding will fall under the same problem storywise. Then again, it’s still likely to be a hit. I just hope by the end everything is explained rather than just left up in the air.

Catch Death Stranding when it comes out for the PS4 on Nov. 8.
