Watch: Chris Pratt was Crazy Impressed by John Krasinski's A Quiet Place

John Krasinski's A Quiet Place premiered last Friday, and the movie has gotten a massive haul at the box office as well as some sparkling reviews. One review, in particular comes from Krasinski's fellow NBC alum Chris Pratt who has posted on Instagram how amazed he was at the movie.

Check it out:

It's worth noting that this is Krasinski's directorial debut, and he stars in the film alongside his wife Emily Blunt. Here's the very brief premise of the movie:

A family is forced to live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound.

Before he was the MCU's Star-Lord, Chris Pratt was loveable idiot Andy Dwyer in NBC's Parks and Recreation. Likewise, Krasinski played desk prankster Jim Halpert in another NBC mockumentary, The Office. What a lot of people don't know, however, is the fact that Krasinski was very close to playing the MCU's Captain America before Chris Evans came onboard.

With Krasinski making headlines by saying he would be interested in playing Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic for the MCU, it might not be long before we get to see him join the ranks of Pratt and other Marvel Studios stars. His wife, Emily Blunt, is also everyone's top pick to play Reed Richards' wife, Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman. It's funny that people want Krasinski to lead the Fantastic Four, as the guy he lost the Captain America role to, Chris Evans, played the Human Torch in the 2005 Fantastic Four film.

A Quiet Place is now showing in theaters.
