Warner Bros. Producer Deborah Snyder Swears By The Uniqueness Of Each DC Movie

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is perhaps Warner Bros.' biggest superhero film to date. The DC movie not only pits two of the world's biggest comic book characters on the big screen, but it will introduce several other members of the Justice League who will later on become the focus of their own solo films.

Including this month's Batman v Superman, there are currently 10 DC comic book movies set for release up to the year 2020. But as exciting as this new venture sounds, it begs the question whether the Warner Bros. will be able to make each film interesting enough that movie goers will be enticed to keep watching the DC films four years after Dawn of Justice.

Well, Warner Bros. producer Deborah Snyder has the perfect answer to that question.

According to Deborah, who is also Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder's wife and production partner, every DC film is "so different from each other."

Speaking with Collider at the Batman v Superman press day, the producer further elaborated:

[Suicide Squaddirector] David [Ayer] has created this really fun movie about bad guys trying to do good, and it's brazen, and it has just a really great tone to it, so it's really fun.
And it's so different from BvS and it's completely different from what Patty Jenkins is doing with Wonder Woman. With Wonder Woman, it's an origin story, it takes place also in World War I, so as you can imagine you're kind of in a completely different world.

And it's not just where and when the movies will take place, it's also their tones. Snyder adds:

Just the color palette and everything of the films are so different from one another.
I think that's what's so great about having these directors come on board who have a very strong vision and point of view for these characters and these stories, and they can really make it their own.

There you have it. Though it's only natural for Snyder to root for the studio that she represents, it's worth noting that a Marvel writer has recently admitted to finding Batman v Superman trailers better than Civil War's.

Even if Dawn of Justice doesn't necessarily represent future DC movies, it will somehow give audiences a perspective on the tone of the movies.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on Friday, March 25.
