Venom 2 Star Tom Hardy Possibly Teased Spider-Man Joining Sony Sequel

Spider-Man might be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but that doesn't mean you should rule out the possibility that the webslinger will not show up in an upcoming Sony film. Tom Hardy may have revealed that Tom Holland's Peter Parker will somehow appear in Venom 2.

Hardy posted a teaser on his official Instagram account but immediately deleted it. However, since nothing can truly be erased from the internet, a fan account shared the image, which appears to be Hardy wearing an ill-fitting Spider-Man costume. Check it out below.

We're not sure exactly what this means (maybe Hardy is dressing up as Spider-Man for Halloween?) but some believe that the Venom star is teasing on the webslinger showing up in the sequel. After all, if the picture was so harmless, why delete it in the first place? However, Sony has not yet confirmed anything about Holland showing up in Venom 2 so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

There hasn't been a lot of updates about Venom 2 although we now know that Andy Serkis will be directing the highly anticipated sequel. In addition to Hardy reprising his role as Eddie Brock, there are speculations that Michelle Williams will return as Anne Weying and hopefully, She-Venom.

Sony and Disney have made a deal where Spider-Man will continue to be a part of the MCU. Holland is expected to appear in one more Marvel film in addition to Spider-Man 3. There is no word yet on whether Venom will join Spidey in the MCU.
