The VALORANT community expecting that the Episode 3, Act 3 update will begin next week, and that Deadeye will be added to the roster of Agents. Currently, there are sixteen VALORANT Agents in the game, and Deadeye would be the seventeenth. Riot already shared various teasers for the upcoming Agent, so fans are excited to try playing him, but according to a VALORANT blog, which was originally released in Arabic, Riot has delayed the new Agent. Now, Deadeye will reportedly be released with the 3.10 update, two weeks after Episode 3, Act 3 begins.

The upcoming VALORANT Agent will likely be revealed tomorrow, Friday, October 19, according to John Goscicki, the VALORANT character producer at Riot Games. According to the blog, the "clarity of the gameplay" was the main problem with the new agent, which led to the delay.

"As development progressed on the new Agent, it was clear to us that they were not at the quality bar you’ve come to expect from us. It’s why we’ve opted to hold the Agent for an additional two weeks, while we work on polishing up those final aspects," Goscicki said. "Sometimes the last 10% of work really brings together the previous 90% of work."

Riot recently shared a teaser for the new Agent on social media, which featured a look at Deadeye's supposed weaponry.
