Uncharted Star Tom Holland Prepared For Nathan Drake Role By Working in Luxury Hotel Bar

There is little doubt that Tom Holland had no problem preparing for his role as Spider-Man since he's already good at doing backflips. However, it looks like the Avengers: Endgame star had to go through additional training for the Uncharted movie. It has just been revealed that Holland worked at an exclusive bar in a luxury hotel to prepare for his role as Nathan Drake!

Tom Holland was recently featured in GQ where it was confirmed the Uncharted actor needed special training for a scene where Nathan Drake works as a bartender. According to the outlet, Holland worked at the Chiltern Firehouse, a luxury hotel bar in central London. His training included working with the hotel staff who taught him how to mix cocktails and perform trick pours.

This is an interesting revelation considering that the Chiltern Firehouse is known for its exclusivity. The bar subjects all possible trainees to a rigorous screening process so it's great to know that Holland was accepted. With that in mind, we're looking forward to seeing those bartending skills in February next year.

The Uncharted movie will follow "the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor 'Sully' Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of 'the greatest treasure never found' while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother."

Uncharted also stars Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle as Braddock, and Antonio Banderas as the mysterious villain who gets into some conflict with Nathan and Sully.

Tom Holland is certainly going to be busy for the next few months. His latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021. Uncharted is then scheduled for release on February 18, 2022.
