Uncharted 4 Sold Over 2.4 Million in Its First Week, Sets Record

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End unsurprisingly debuted to a huge success when it was released earlier in May.

Naughty Dog's highly-anticipated third-person action-adventure film sold over 2.7 million units worldwide. The game's sales set the record to make it the "fastest-selling Playstation 4 first party title to-date."

The worldwide sell-through data for both digital and physical copies includes sales as of May 16.

"Millions of fans around the world have already joined Nathan Drake on his final treasure hunt," says a post on the PlayStation blog. "A huge congratulations goes out to Naughty Dog for an incredible feat."

Uncharted 4 was released on May 10 for Playstation 4, and it's set three years after Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
