Ubisoft's The Division 2 is Ridiculously Cheap Right Now

The Division 2 has been one of Ubisoft's better-supported titles in recent years, despite the rocky launch of the first game. It started with a bang and has been entertaining players ever since but Ubisoft wants even more people to join the community since the game is now dirt cheap on the US PlayStation Store. No joke, fans can buy The Division 2 right now for $2.99, which is as much as a cup of coffee.

Crazy.

As if that deal wasn't tantalizing enough for you, a number of the game's special editions are also on sale for a fairly cheap price. The Division 2 Gold Edition is at a solid $14.99 from the previous $99.99 while The Division 2 Ultimate Edition is $17.99 from $119.99. The fact that every version of this game is below $19.99 is unbelievable, though most people will likely get the $2.99 standard edition.

Keep in mind that the game still has microtransactions. While they are "optional," you might be tempted by the constant reminders in-game, not to mention all of those annoying players who bought their way to high levels/weapons.

Lead a team of elite agents into a post-pandemic Washington, DC, to restore order and prevent the collapse of the city. Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is an online action-shooter RPG experience, where exploration and player progression are essential. Save a country on the brink of collapse as you explore an open, dynamic, and hostile world in Washington, DC. Fight together with your friends in online co-op or against others in competitive PvP. Choose a unique class specialization to take on the toughest challenges with friends in a genre-defining endgame.

Is the price drop enough for you to check out The Division 2 on PS4? Or does the constant presence of microtransactions ruin the experience for you? Let us know in the comments below.
