Ubisoft's Next Assassin's Creed Game May Have Been Leaked

Even though the series lost its luster for a bit, fans are always chomping at the bit whenever a new Assassin's Creed is announced by the company, especially after Origins decided to turn the series into a full-blown action RPG. Considering how so many people enjoyed Origins and Odyssey, fans have been waiting for the next entry to blow them away, especially since the folks at Ubisoft decided that the series wouldn't be yearly anymore.

Well, fans in ResetEra have discovered that GameStop may have leaked the next game, revealing a new title called Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok, even confirming a Mjolnir Edition, because Ubisoft loves their multiple game editions. This confirms that we're getting a new game set in the Viking era, though one has to wonder how the tale will lead into the main storyline of this series since the Vikings are far from stealthy.

Then again, Odyssey focused on the child of Leonidas, and Spartans aren't known for being stealthy either.

Most people might consider this leak to be a bit surprising but most internet-savvy gamers are used to it. Unfortunately, new Assassin's Creed games are always leaked ahead of their planned announce date. No joke, both Origins, and Odyssey were leaked days before they were announced so Ragnarok getting leaked in the same way is business as usual for Ubisoft.

No official release date for Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok was unveiled.
